We are proud to provide an education that offers our children a view of the world beyond our dry stone walls. Our well-designed curriculum encourages children to explore diversity, understand global perspectives, and engage with the changing world around them. We want our pupils to feel empowered to make a positive contribution to both their local community and the wider world.

We are an inclusive federation, committed to challenge for all. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and we tailor our teaching to ensure that all learners -regardless of background or ability -can thrive. Our curriculum is designed to stretch and support, enabling children to achieve their personal best.

We place a strong emphasis on resilience, helping children to develop the confidence to take risks, learn fromtheir marvellous  mistakes, and persevere through challenges. These qualities are essential not only for academic success but for life beyond school.

As part of The Upper Wharfedale Primary Federation, we benefit from being part of an outward-looking organisation. We embrace opportunities for collaborative learning and specialist teaching that extend beyond the scope of any single school.

Our weekly RE sessions help children understand their intrinsic worth and the positive impact they can have on their school, their community, and the wider world.
